How does it work?
Levels of Care are related to the 7 Activities of Daily Living. An assessment is done by the physician specifying what assistance the prospective residents need assistance with. On the basis of the 1823 Assessment, a service plan is developed by the case manager and given to the service provider to provide the care. Instead of having a limited set options to choose from, our care is completely customizable for each resident.
Please contact us for more information on additional supply charges or additional facility fees. Additional Facility Fees include key replacement, lock replacement, meal deliveries, salon, physical therapies with H2Health, and more.
For Medicaid and VA Benefits, Levels of Care are not needed.
7 Activities of Daily Living Explained
Activities of Daily Living are tasks that we do to live an independent life and they fall under 3 categories.
Personal Care Assistance or Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Lifestyle Support (iADLs)
Activity Assistance (dADLs)
As we grow older dADLs are the first type of activity we stop doing. After that, the iADLs, for example cleaning our homes, are second to stop. However, you can fix that by hiring a house cleaner so it does not greatly impact our independence. The third category, ADLs cannot be avoided or skipped without affecting our health and safety.
